07/13/2016: Our stamping experience @Ottawa
My wife and I are on H1B and went for the interview this morning at Ottawa embassy. We were let in at 7:40 AM and out by 8:15 AM.

I am working for a global consultancy firm in an EC model and my wife is working in an EVC model. We were both interviewed by the same VO but not at the same time. The VO was very friendly.

My visa is approved and the VO said I will hear back in 2-3 business days on my passport.

But my wife was issued a 221g- yellow form for employer verification and the VO said it will take 2-3 business days (at the most 4-5 business days) to complete this process. She took her passport, client letter and employer verification document and told my wife specifically that it will not take longer time if they get all the confirmations and she will not get stuck in Canada.

Questions were basic and the same that were asked to other folks in this forum.

Once my wife's employer verification is successful and no further documents are needed, does she need to again attend interview in person or will the embassy approve the visa directly as they have her passport already?

Thanks,
rag8
