My current H1b Petition and Visa is expiring at end of August 2016. I booked a travel to Mexico City end of July and thinking of getting visa stamped while I am there. I have the new petition and I-94 expiring in 2019.
As my H1b visa is unexpired, I dont need Mexico Visa to enter. Although as my petition has start date of August end, can I still get a new H1b? What will be the start date of my new Visa, July 2016 or August 2016? Will they cancel my current H1b Visa? Will I get a new I-94 when I come back to US?
