Chicago June Interview Experience
Wondering what everyone else's experience has been for Chicago interviews. Wife is citizen, my timeline is as follows;
2/12/2016 - USCIS received package.
4/30/2016 - Received 1 year travel / work authorization card.
06/08/2016 - Had interview which seemed to go very well. We were never separated, and it was more like an informal chat. I am on work visa and have been on and off in the US for a decade. My wife and I are high income earners, have been together over 2.5 years, and I am from a western country with very low migration to the US. The interviewer indicated the physical green card should be provided within weeks.
As of 7/18
I-130 still shows online as On February 12, 2016, we received your Form I-130
I-485 still shows online as we are ready to schedule your Form I-485 for an interview.
Is this typical? I had expected to receive the green card by now, or at least see a status update online.
