All St. Louis USCIS filers
All,
As you know St. Louis is well on its way to become the slowest USCIS office in the country, most likely by next month. I had predicted this month, but that didn't happen (fingers crossed). Anyway, all jokes aside, it does not seem like St. Louis is willing to give us answers to why they are so slow.

What I suggest is to complain about the delays in three ways by writing letters: to the field office director, to the district director and to the ombudsman. Details are below on how to do it. Even those who have recently filed, it is in your best interest to do this or you'll be waiting longer than me (PD Aug 2015). The letters should explicitly ask why St. Louis office is so slow, compared to other mid-western cities (and the country really), and what is the office going to do about the delays. I would bring up this statistic: in 6 months St. Louis processing timeline has moved 40 days.
