Queens NY -Complete Timeline
Hi,

This forum has really helped me out, given me patience and provided a level of comfort through the whole green card process, so I am delighted to complete my timeline, for my marriage based green-card, as follows:

09/20/2015: Package Sent
09/21: Priority Date
Mid October: Fingerprints taken (in Long Island City) and RFE (I can't recall the exact dates). I responded to the RFE in a week (some simple stuff on how much we earn)
11/10: Ready to schedule Interview
11/18: EAD Card received
04/28/2016: Interview noticed received for 06/08 in mail (not updated online)
06/08: Interview at Federal Plaza. (This wasn't too bad. The first question, before we sat down, was how many people were at our wedding. As it was ended we go a letter with check boxes. We were told the decision was under review and that if we didn't hear anything in 60 days, to follow up).
07/20: New Card was being produced
07/21: Application was approved
07/25: USPS picked up the card to ship. We also got a separate welcome notice this day in the mail
07/26: Green card at last.

309 days!! Brutal waiting, especially after the interview.
Glad it is over (for 2 years anyway).
