Is the I-485 interview scheduled strictly by the order of the priority date?
I just got the following online notice:
"As of July 26, 2016, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. . . . "
How long should I expect to wait till I got an interview schedule notice?
My local processing office is in St. Louis, MO, which probably has the largest backlog of I-485 applications.
Is the interview scheduled strictly by the order of the priority date?
Is there possibly an exception?
