The following excerpt is directly from uscis.gov.?

Adjustment of status interviews are generally waived for applicants in the following classifications:?

•Fiancé(e)s of U.S. citizens who married within 90 days, and their children.
•Parents of U.S. citizens;?
Do you think the above waiver policy is generally followed?
If the USCIS, indeed, follows the policy, why still do so many people have to go through the interview as indicated by so many posts sharing the interview experiences or plans in this great forum?
Have you seen or known anyone who have received the I-485 interview waiver because they are either the (1) "fiance of U.S. citizens who married within 90 days" or (2) "parents of U.S. citizens"?
I believe that these days almost all I-485 applicants have to go through the interview.
