May 23, 2016: Priority Date
June 29th: Biometrics done (showed up on the date it was scheduled)
July 14th: Your case is ready to be scheduled for an Interview
July 26th: Your case is ready to be scheduled for an Interview. I called them to ask why would this status changed, they said they're experiencing a back log. I was so disappointed!
August 8: Called in to file a case inquiry for my EAD card since it past 75 days already. They said I'll hear back within the next 30 days. I also filed a case inquiry for my Advanced parole since we already made large deposits for our upcoming traditional wedding at home. We would loose these deposits, if we can't make it home. Plus, our parents already formally discussed and picked out the date, and my in-law has been pressuring us to buy the flight tickets so the whole family an all go home.
August 9: We got our interview date scheduled for October 12th! We're waiting for the confirmation via mail
August 10: no signs on my EAD yet, but it's been all good :)
