EAD wait time NYC
Hello There,
I must say this is the best forum ever! There is so much knowledge and support that I wished I had it years ago when I was going through my Immigration Journey!
I am writing on behalf of my husband that I am sponsoring ( US CItizen ) .
This is our timeline so far:
6/16 package sent
6/20 received USCIS
6/23 noticed mailed MSC for both I-485 and I-765
7/2 biometrics apt letter received
7/18 biometrics done
8/10 online status under I-495 changes to " Case ready to be scheduled for Interview.
No change under I-765 : Case received
I would like to ask those who also filed in NYC if this is normal. My husband first and foremost needs the EAD but there has been no change in the status. Would the " movement " under the I-485 indicate that the EAD should be approved shortly ?
What is the current wait time from others experience on EAD or the Interview in NYC area?
Any inputs would be very much appreciated!
