Interview I 485 in NYC
Hello guys, thanks in advance for any imput.
I received my interview note, but it is in NYC, I moved to PR, and i changed my address accordingly and told USCIS, in fact they sent letters to my new address in PR stating that they had made the address change. I was hoping to have my interview in PR, but i dont care i would go to NYC.
Today I checked my PO box in PR, and i had a letter from USCIS with my interview note, BUT that was sent to my address in NYC, and the post office forwarded it to my po box in PR (because i made the change online) .
The interview is in NYC, and i just find it weird that the interview note says NOtice date, Aug 9th 2016, ( meaning they scheduled it that date 8/9/16) and i made the address change AND received the letters confirming that address change from USCIS in the begining of June.
So i was surprised my interview is in NYC regardles of my change of address, And im scared of flyging to NYC getting there with the interview note i have, and have they telling me that i dont have an appoitment.
