Adjustment of Status - I-485

Brief overview of my journey. Family based petitioned applied back in 2008. PD was 08/22/2008 been waiting for quite a while. PD became effective in April 2016. Sent documents for AOS in April Paper work was received on April 19 2016. We later received Biometrics appointment in May. Received request for initial Evidence in July (Affidavit) sent documentation which they received July 19th 2016 and started working on the case again. The status of the EAD/Parole changed as of August 5th 2016 to card being produced (my brother's status changed before mine on July 29th) we both received our EAD's a week later. The status of the I485 receipt# changed as of August 5th right when the EAD/Parole was produced to "ready to schedule Interview". Two days ago the status changed and we finally we received our appointment date next month. Compared to other offices, I think the Boston office is pretty much on schedule. I have read offices like Houston are pretty backed up with their interviews. This has been a very long and kind of emotional journey hopefully everything goes well and some you get an idea of what's going on if you have been waiting for your interview notice.
