Hello everyone,
I have been following this forum since May and it helped me through my journey.
I have been married for 3 years and have known my wife for 5. I had my interview on Friday 9/16/16, when I got there I was a bit nervous, however it went away once I was before the officer. my interview took about 5 min and got approved on the spot.
here is my time line:
Packet was received by USCIS on 5/22/16
biometrics done 6/21/16
interview scheduled notice received 8/15/16, interview scheduled for 9/16/15
received EAD 8/21/16
interview on 9/16/16 approved on the spot
card in production 9/16/16
now just waiting for my GC.
I have been under TPS (temporary protection status) since 2001. I came to this beautiful
country as kid, I was about 4 years old. I am thank God this renewing my TPS every 18 months nightmare is over.
