background/name check
Hello, thank you all for sharing your experience on this forum…this has been very full.
Here is my experience so far and would like your input/experience on background/name check process (time line)
USC marriage based application, (local office, Seattle)
3/30/16 I-130, I-485, I-765 received by USCIS
5/13/16 Finger Print complete
5/4/16 RFE received for I864
6/2/16 RFE information received by USCIS
6/20/16 Work-permit card received
9/26/16 Info-pass appointment, since no online status change since 6/2/16. Officer mentioned name check is still pending. There is nothing they can do until that is cleared.
Does anyone has experience with pending name check/background for almost 5+ months (based on application and finger complete)? I’m assuming there is not much I can do about it. Any similar experience/feedback greatly appreciated.
