I-485 my timeline and experience
I wanted to post my experience because this website was so helpful to me and all of your out there sharing your experiences have made my process easier. It's my turn to share now and I wish the best of luck to all of you out there who are doing this without an attorney!

About my interview, it was so much simpler than I expected. My husband and I were so prepared. We had originals or everything we can think of, tax returns (not joint), emails, photos, bank statements and even our family gym contract! We printed out pictures from facebook showing dates posted and comments. My husband and I were together for 5 years before we were married and have traveled to many countries together so even though it seemed easy, you can never be too prepared. We were each asked our names and DOBs, they asked me how I met my husband and the the officer looked through our documents very quickly. She kept 5 pictures and gave us back everything and said she would approve the case. We didn't get anything in writing about the approval, she gave the a paper that said the case was in review and could take up to 90 days, but one hour later, our case was updated to "card is being produced". Ok, so here are my dates. 7.5 months in total!

2.16.16 - I-485 application mailed
2.19.16 - Application received and accepted. Priority date for same day.
3.14.16 - Biometrics done
3.14.16 - I-765 application received and accepted (I mailed them separately).
6.07.16 - EAD card was ordered
6.14.16 - EAD card received
8.19.16 - Interview scheduled for 9.22
9.22.16 - Interview - Application approved - Card was ordered
9.27.16 - LPR card was mailed
10.01.16 - LPR card was received

Card in hand now and we cannot be happier! This process is finally over! Good luck to everyone and just hang in there!
