USPS LOST GREEN CARD
Hi everyone,

I wanted to see if anyone had the experience of USPS losing their green.I had My permanent resident application approved on September 8, 2016, and received his I-797 welcome notice about 5 days later. USPS was supposed to deliver the green card on September 17, 2016 by 4-day Priority mail, but so far, nothing. The tracking says that it is "in transit" but it has been in transit for about 20 days now. I've called various post offices and USPS customer service, but no one knows where the green card is.. Right now I opened a claim with USPS to see if they can locate the mail.

Anyway, I wanted to see if anyone had this experience? I know l may have to file the I-90 to get a replacement card, but it would be extremely irritating and stressful since the USPS potentially lost my card.
Kindly advice on the necessary steps to take because its unfair to pay $450 for replacement for mail that didn't get to me.
