successful first h1b visa stamping in Ottawa- first week of october
I had my visa interview in Ottawa a few days ago in the morning. After security check outside, and showing my DS160, I was sent inside. Inside, I was first sent to a window to get my documents checked- DS160, passport, photo (asked me how old the photo was). Then to the interview- I was only asked what my job is (I don't work in consulting), and what my US degree was (they had this information already). No documents asked. Visa approved. Interview took 1 minute maybe. No status update the same day. Next day got a mail saying passport dispatched, and delivered the third day.
