Interview questions:
-The yes and no questions I've already answered on the form (are you a prostitute, terrorist)
-How and where we met
-Who proposed
-When did we see each other again after our first encounter
-He asked if brought any additional evidence (we provided: insurances, lease,bank statements, phone bill) he kept all of them. I also brought random papers with our address on them (medical bills, Amazon orders) he look look through those
-What we fought about last
-have you met each other's families
Just when we thought we were done he asked if we had our phones. He asked to see the oldest messages (we scroll up for a while) until he said-OK show me where you're at. He also checked our Facebook account. That made me nervous because I'm not active on social media (I never changed my status to married) and he asked why? We told him that we are private and don't care about that kind of stuff. He let it go.
After an awkward silence while he checked and updated stuff on his computer he said the words I've been waiting to hear for years: I APPROVE YOUR CASE!
This blog was incredibly helpful so I want to share my experience! My advise to you is to send a well organized, strong package from the beginning. BE HONEST and patient-it's quite painful to wait for updates, but stay positive.
