What's up friends! Here is my experience about renewal EAD.
Office - SRC (Taxes)
Timeline:
July 5 - Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization was received. (Day 1)
September 28 - raised 1th online request (Day 86). After did it couple more times
October 20 - raised expedition request (Day 106). I was asked to provide a job offer with start date and the date after which it'll be denied.
November 3 - contacted local congressmen and explain my situation (Day 120). I was asked to provide a job offer and last I-797 form from USCIS.
November 7 - New Card Is Being Produced. On November 7, 2016, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number, and will mail it to the address you gave us.
Thanks to the congressmen! It's look like he's respectful for USCIS and does his job well.
And now I have a question for you guys. What's the "valid from" date is going to be on the new card? Is it receipt date or date before/after when new card is being produced?
My employer want I confirm the date when I can start to work asap. Please, share your experience about it. Thanks a lot. Let's keep in touch friends!
