NYC Filler AOS interview Holtsville Approved on the Spot
Hi, so just an update,

I had my interview yesterday at Holtsville NY, there wasnt many people in the office, We arrived at 10:20 am the appointment was at 10:50am, we were called aroung 11:15 am.

The officer was nice and direct to the point... He sworn us as soon as we entered his office, he then said that he will ask me and my wife individual questions... The first question was how did we meet, it was a question towards my wife she answered, 2nd question was what was my favorite food. then my wife freaked out about me not liking food, and that I only eat microwave food. I then explained to the officer that I grew up very picky with food and that I am not a person that would be adventurous with food and they laugh and told me that I should try new foods and that I am missing a lot of things by not trying different dishes, he then proceeded asking me the yes or no questions.

Someone came to office so the officer had to excuse himself, he was gone for 10 mins and when he came back he said that he was in a good mood and that he things everything looks good and that he believe that our marriage is genuine so he will be approving the adjustment of status. He then asked for joint documents we gave him our bank statements and car insurance and 6 pictures, he didnt even look at them but he put them in the file right away. He said he is the kind of person wants to be on top of things so he will be approving the adjustment of status right there and there while we are sitting. But in the middle of him doing something in the computer he asked me what was my wife's birthday and ask my wife for my birthday... we answered and he said great... he started lecturing us about how to be straight with life and that everything we do will have a consequence in the future. My phone vibrated but i cant check the message. He said since we are married less than 2 years I will get a conditional green card and that my lawyer will explain it further.

He walked us out of the room, I checked my phone and it was a text that there was an update on my case and that the card was ordered.

Later that night at 7pm i got another message and that updated my status for both 485 and 130 as case is approve.

now questions

me and my wife moved to a new apartment but we never change the address in the petition, we didnt need to, cause the address on file was my parents house and we would still get mail from there with no problem. although my question is will the card still be sent to my parents house or to the new address on our license which we showed the immigration office.

cant wait to get my card hopefully i get a tracking number soon

God bless to all
