RFE after 485 interview
Hello everyone,

Need help or advice with my case!

Background:
Me: F1 student
My husband: Born in Hong Kong, and obtained citizenship through parents when he was 6.

7/18 we had AOS interview. Our marriage wasn't questioned but IO questioned about my husband's citizenship because he doesn't have a certificate of citizenship. ( we brought passport and SSN card)
No decision because IO said she needs to check my in-laws' citizenship.

9/8 Received Intend of Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs) , saying my husband's us passport was probably issued by mistake(??!!!) and the passport is not strong enough to prove his citizenship.
9/20 Our lawyer sent out the evidence package including my in-laws' certificate of naturalization ,US passport, family photos.
Even the USCIS website said that it is not required for people who obtained citizenship to apply for a certificate of citizenship. U.S. passport is strong enough to prove citizenship.

So far we didn't hear back anything. Feel frustrated and nervous. Would anyone share similar experience or advice? I really appreciate.
