Hello everyone, thanks for sharing your experience, here's my story:

Las Vegas, NV

Got married to usc in May 2015,

Timeline:
10/20/2016 - sent all forms, checks and medical exam
10/29/2016 - pd
11/02/2016 - checks cashed
11/21/2016 - fingerprints taken in Las Vegas office
01/09/2016 - i765 update: we ordered your new card
01/10/2016 - i765 approved
01/13/2016 - ead card is mailed
01/15/2016 - ead card received
08/11/2016 - interview scheduled of September 14
09/14/2016 - interview took place in Las Vegas

We had the interview scheduled for 1230pm and arrived at 1210pm, I worked with an immigration lawyer who prepared all the paperwork, but I decided not to bring him to the interview since we have an authentic marriage and lived together for longer than a year prior to the interview date. We got called by IO around 120pm, he sweared us and started asking typical interview questions: how we met, relationship, marriage, families, travels, our apartment etc. He asked for any joint documents and took all of them, also went through all the photos and asked some questions about where some of those were taken. Interview lasted for about 50 minutes and the officer was very polite and professional, we had a good solid conversation and laughed a few times together. In the end he said that everything looks good but he can't approve our case on the spot because our join sponsor (yes we filed joint sponsor form when we sent the package a year ago and haven't received any rfe back then) didn't meet the income requirement. I talked to my lawyer a week later when we prepared a new joint sponsor form and he said it's the first time in his career they issue this kind of rfe on the interview date.

09/14/2016 - rfe mailed
10/21/2016 - correspondence for rfe received by uscis
10/28/2016 - we ordered your new card, later on the same day case got approved
11/02/2016 - card is mailed
11/04/2016 - card received

PS:
1. My case status was never updated to "Ready to schedule for interview", I guess sometimes they just don't do it
2. I went for infopass appointment in July but haven't received any useful information, they said the case still haven't arrived to the local office
3. My medical exam was taken on 09/24/2015 (and submitted with my application) and my interview date was 09/14/2015 so it was still valid and the lawyer said I don't need to make a new one. IO haven't asked me anything about the medical exam during the interview

I wish a good luck to everyone who's going through the same process, be patient, wish for the best but be prepared for the worst!
