Houston interview- Approved on spot
PD: September 28, 2015
I-485 interview date: November 17, 2016
Field location: Houston,TX

I had the interview this morning. It was scheduled at 7:15AM. My wife (US citizen) and I checked in at 7:00AM. We are a same sex couple. We got called in at 8:05AM. The officer was very nice. He started with asking my wife to verify the information in the I-130 form. Then he asked me to confirm the information I put in I-485 and those yes/no questions. After that he asked my wife how met, when my birthday was, where I work. And then he asked me if I had an update i693 form since it's expired after a year. I handed him the new one. He checked and everything looked fine. Then he asked us to show him the current apartment lease since the one we submitted ended. Then he asked if we had any other updated joint documents like tax return for the latest year, bank account, credit card accounts and insurance, so we handed him all of that. He just flipped through them and put them in the folder. After that he asked to see some photos. While he was flipping through our photo books, he randomly asked where we took those photos and when it was. Finally, he said he was approving my green card but since we've been married less than 2 years, I will get the conditional green card and have to file for removal of the condition after 2 years. Then I got the stamp on my passport. It took about 45 minutes for the whole interview.

Hope this helps. Good Luck!
