more than 3 months waiting for interview in Houston
Good morning everyone!!!
I am desperate for visiting my family this Christmas and we have not receive the appointment for the interview yet.
My husband is Cuban (I am from other country) and we are adjusting our status through the The Cuban Adjustment Act. The received date of our application was April 4 of 2016 and by 31 of July they were ready to schedule us an interview, but we have not received any notice yet. It has been more than 3 months and half waiting for the appointment . I know that for Cubans get the green card very fast, his father had the residence in less than 5 months and he applied 2 months before us (and he is not older than 60) so I don´t understand why our application is so slow. Maybe because he is applying with me and I am not Cuban?
Any Houston fillers who can tell me how much time you waited for interview?
Any Cuban fillers who applied with a husband or wife from a different country?
