Still no EAD
Hi all.

I have been reading everyone experiences so far and it was helpful in that it made me realize how long it is going to take before i ever get approval or my ead card. I finally decided to put my experience here simply out of frustration. The time it takes to get anything or updates is quite ridiculous and overbearing. I am trying not to even think about it.

My application was received on August 16, 2016. The site was updated to say such.
I called USCIS like 70 days after and they said I can put in a inquiry request but only after 75 days.
I submitted a request on the 75th day (November 1, 2016) and i got an automatic response saying expect to hear a reply from them by November 23, 2016.
As you can see, they are just buying time, cause that's pretty much the 90 day period right?

Then i remember someone talking about info pass and scheduling an appointment with them. So did schedule to speak with someone on November 18th.

LET ME WARN YOU NOW. It was a waste of time. they tell you the same thing you see on the website. and they can't tell you anything more.

Then I put in a request again this time using the link that says if you pass 90 days and still haven't heard a thing, submit an inquiry via this link, which i did on the 90th day (November 15th) it really should have been 16th, but i was like what the hell, one day ain't go make a difference.

I got an automatic reply saying expect a response by November 27th, 2016, like are you kidding me?

Then i got an email response on November 17th, telling me that my case is with an immigration officer and should receive a decision notice or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter (which is November 17th, 2016).

So yes folks it unbelievably frustrating. and im writing this for those who reading and wondering how long it can take. well there you go don't be fooled by the timeline on the website, there are cases, such as mine where it is taking an eternity.

I will come back and update when anything changes. i'm so happy for you guys who got through as scheduled. :((((
