Interview Experience
Hello Guyz, On 17th November,2016, we had our interview at USCIS office in Philadelphia at about 10:05am. I and my wife arrived at the venue 15 minutes to the interview. After we passed the security check, we checked in at the front desk. At about 10:05 am the IO called both of us into his office and we took the normal oath. He continued by asking questions ; how we met, what happened thereafter, who first proposed wedding, where the wedding take place. he equally collected my wife's birth certificate who is a US citizen and checked, our joint documents like Lease, utilities e.t.c. he asked us to identify those in our pictures and why my wife decided to marry me. Thereafter, he asked me questions about my two kids and why I divorced my ex-wife. Towards the tail end of the interview, he asked me to check and correct my names and my date of birth if there is mistake, my kids name and their date of births. He further ask questions of Yes and No and told us they will communicate us withing 30 to 60 days. I checked my status online today, nothing has changed and I read from some people that their status changed even before they got home that day. Can somebody tell me how long it takes for status to change after interview?
