Visa Stamping from Canada/ Mexico

Thanks for all the posts that helped me prepare for the interview. I got my visa approved this morning in Ottawa, Canada. Below is my profile and experience for your information.

Masters in USA from Illinois Tech, Working with same company for past 7 years. Needed H1B and H4 extension.

VO: Good Morning, please give me your passport and DS 160.

Me: Given

VO: How long have you been with your present company?

Me: Since 2010.

VO: What does your company do?

Me: Whatever my company does.....

VO: Asks for company offer letter?
Me: Provided

VO: To My Wife, What do you do in United States?
My Wife: Working for a finance company. She mentioned company name.

VO: Can i see you EAD card?
My Wife: Provided her EAD Card.

VO: Please verify your finger prints, and your visa has been approved. However due to the holidays coming up, we might not be able to give you the visa this week.

Me: Requested the passport to be returned before the holidays.

That’s it, I hope I get it by Friday, else I will have to reschedule my flight. Shall update the group about the same.

By God’s grace, I got the stamping done. I wish you guys all the luck.

PS: My interview was at 9:30 am. i reached there at 8:45 am. Security didn't allow me to enter till 9:15 am. Its advised not to carry hand bags or back packs. I saw 4 to 5 applicants returned because they were carrying back pack/handbag.
