The interview was smooth. It took about 40 minutes. The IO was nice and even had background classic music to make people more comfortable. She sworn us and asked the questions from I-485 and then asked me how me and husband met, who came up with the idea of getting married, how was the wedding, then she asked if we had pictures and we showed her the pictures. She asked how was my relationship with my in-laws, since we lived with them for a while and that was it. Also, I had to take the influenza vaccine before going to the interview, because at the time I sent the medical exam, the doctor said I wouldn’t need it because it wasn’t flu season yet. So, since it’s been 6 months since the exam, I took the flu shot and submitted it to the IO.
In the end, she gave us a paper saying that the case was going to be held for review. Two days later, the status changed to: Card is being produced, and then to: CASE APPROVED > CARD MAILED.

I can’t thank you all enough for sharing your experiences here. This forum was my salvation for the last 8 months!

Thank you and good luck to everyone!!!
