Interview waiver criteria
Interestingly, USCIS states regarding I-485 interview waiver as follows:
_____________________________________________________________________________?

Adjustment of status interviews are generally waived for applicants
in the following classifications:?
?
• Fiance of U.S. citizens who married within 90 days, and their children?
______________________________________________________________________________

I am just curious about the "married within 90 days" regulation.

If a couple has been in marriage for years, it can be a much more credible evidence
to a bona fide (not fake) marriage, compared to a "marriage within 90 days".

Hence, the "married within 90 days" should have been "has been married for (say) two years or longer".

I post this question because I thought that this matter may be of interest to many others.

Gathering from earlier posts in this forum, I know that there are a number of visitors (to this site)
who have the depth and breadth of knowledge about immigration matters.

Their volunteering their precious time to share their in-depth knowledge
has made this forum arguably the most popular online immigration forum.

FYI, I have nothing to do with the above-stated matter.

Wish all of you the best luck and fortune!
