Silent reader here for almost a year. Finally decided to post my experience so that other people can see.
i filed my case 485 based on Marriage to a USC to NBC
04/18/16 Case received and PD given
04/25/16 Received Receipts for 485 130 765
04/30/16 Received letter for Biometrics for 05/13/16
05/02/16 Walk in at Local office for Biometrics
05/18/16 Received notification my EAD was approved no status change on 485
05/24/16 Received my EAD no status change on 485
from this point my 485 had no progress.....6 long months of NOTHING even after i called USCIS and submitted inquiries just got the same old generic response.
11/03/16 I was finally able to see my case on the website before this date my case number showed error on the website and when i called. This gave me hope that finally my dead case would move
11/22/16 finally READY FOR INTERVIEW
11/23/16 Interview Scheduled for December 23.
Finally after 6 months on Nothingness. Now to wait for the interview
