horrible interview experience at Fresno office
Hello,

Thank you every one for the support this site helped us a lot.We had our AOS interview at Fresno yesterday and it went really bad.

I came to usa in 2015 as f1 student and I got married to USC (We married against wish of our parents) in March and applied for AOS in July.We have received EAD and travel doc in Nov.

12/5 is our interview date and we went on scheduled time and waited to call our name, officer in his middle age man called our both names and separated me and my wife and took my wife to his office room and asked me to wait in other waiting room. interview with my wife (USC) alone lasted about for an hour. He asked all sort of questions from how we meet and when we married and then about our home like which side of bed we each sleep, about our apartment and kitchen. Then he asked why i am living in different city (my wife and i said it was due to my job and i am coming to California to stay with my wife very soon) and he wrote my other temporary address which i am staying for my job in i-485 form. Then asked about the joint accounts, We have given him our joint checking account and shared mobile contract and other documents and photos. He asked why we are maintaining other accounts if we have joint account together, We have mentioned that our individual accounts are opened before we met and we have not closed them. then he asked to see photos and we showed him pictures. he asked why our parents are not in photos and we mentioned that my parents are totally oppose our decision and they are still in my home country so not came to marriage. Then he said that he dont see our marriage is bonafide and given a form which shows that your case being held for review.

We are very afraid and worried now.Can any one suggest about the next steps.

Thank you
