Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hey guys , IF you had follow my story you would know i have been waiting for a decision since i had my interview on May 25th. its approaching seven months since my interview and i haven't gotten a decision. they never called us for a second interview or visited our apartments. when we contact them they just say case is undergoing a Background check. i have been wondering what might be delaying the background check this long, Im currently on probation for a first time DUI i had just few weeks to my interview. When the officer asked me if i ever been arrested i answered yes and told him about it. I figured i can't get a decision till i am done with the probation. i HAVE paid all fines and done all the required classes and all, I was just discharged from my probation.

My Question is since i am now off probation will the background check be resolved or do i need to mail USCIS or the FBI my discharge documents. Im thinking since the case is on background check and they might not be checking on it periodically to know my probation is over. can i just send them the discharge document from the judge that my probation is over, even when USCIS never requested for it. PLEASE GUYS if u have an idea on this or being through it kindly advise what u think i should do. Bottom line if you're stuck on background check for a long time it might be because of probation, i read USCIS won't adjudicate cases of individuals on probation. PLEASE let me know you thoughts.
