AOS INTERVIEW - HOUSTON OFFICE
My experience was similar to the one from previous member @speaklife. We had the interview the same date and time. Here are the details of my case:

PD: 11/4/2015
Scheduled for an Interview notice: 11/2/2016
Interview Date: 12/8/2016
Interview Time: 9:45 am
Interview Place: Houston Field Office
Other Details: We had no lawyer

Check-In: You will go through a metal detector when you arrive and be asked to place your purse and metal belongings in a bucket. You will then go to the front desk and turn in your appointment letter.

Wait time: Houston office was running behind on interviews, my appointment was at 9:45 but did not get called in until about 10:45. The interview notice says to arrive 30 minutes prior to the interview so that is what we did. Never be too confident that you will get somewhere on time. Houston traffic is crazy sometimes.

At 10:45 my name got called to come to the door by window 14, our IO officer greeted my husband and I by name, he proceeded to walk us in and we followed him to his office. He then swore us in and asked us to have a seat.
He asked for our drivers license, so we gave him that along with the copies. I also provided my TPS ID and my EAD ID. (At that point I was a little bit shaky because I was nervous).

The IO proceeded to explain that he would ask us a series of questions, but before he wanted to know if there was any other evidence we would like to add to the file. I opened up my binder ( I had a zipper binder with everything inside sheet protectors and tabs). He took whatever he felt was valuable to the file.

Interview questions:
What is your wife's name?
Where do you live?
What does your wife do?
Do you know your mother in laws name?
What is your husbands name?
Where do you live?
What does your husband do?
What is your husbands date of birth?
What is your mother in laws name?
How did you meet your wife?
When did you both start dating?
Did you live together before your marriage?
Do you have any kids inside or outside of this marriage?
Do you have any kids in your home country?
To me: When did you get married? Where did you get married? How did your husband propose?
Who does most of the cooking at home? (we joked about this one bc hubby and I eat out a lot LOL)
What is your husbands favorite food?
What is your wife's favorite food?
Do you have any pets? How many?
Did you have dinner together last night?
What was the last movie you guys saw together?
IO asked me again where I lived.. (hmmm was he trying to be tricky, I don't know)
To me: When did you last entered the US? Where did you enter? How did you enter (ex. visitor in my case).

He then proceeded to ask the yes/no questions from the application questionnaire.

IO then said, that concludes our interview. He then said to us that he had good news and bad news so we asked for the bad news first. He said bad news were that I had to renew my physical, good news was that he was approving the I- 130 and that the only thing standing between me and a green card was my physical.

I cried and hugged my husband

Afterward: feeling of weight lifted, joy, excitement, gratitude towards everyone who prayed for me and my husband and grateful that I found this forum.

@speaklife is right....pray...God holds you by the hand every step of the way.

If your marriage is real you need not to worry. Our officer was kind and joked with us very frequently through the interview.

Good luck everyone!!!!
