Hey everyone,
This is my timeline so far:
12 July 2016 - Submitted overnight: I-130, I-485 and I-765
14 July 2016 - Text message saying the documents have been received and case numbers
18 July 2016 - Hard copy receipts received.
24 July 2016 - Bio-metrics appointment letter received.
12 August 2016 - Bio-metrics done on appointment date, New Orleans rarely does walk ins due to volume through the doors.
19 August 2016 - Request for initial evidence: I got the house hold number wrong and needed to submit tax returns. took a long time due to letter not arriving, then personnel issues getting in the way.
10 October 2016 - sent overnight response to RIE.
12 October 2016 - USCIS updated my account to say it was received.
22 October 2016 - USCIS website updated to ' ready for interview'
8 December 2016 - USCIS website updated to interview date set 10 January 2017
12 December 2016 - Received hard copy of interview confirmation.
I have had no update or change in status of the EAD (I-765) or I-130. 75 days after the RIE is in 12 days and if i haven't heard anything i will be raising a service request but it looks like i might get the interview done before getting my EAD but would still like it so i can work in the new year. I hear they rarely stamp the temp green card now a days so i still want that EAD!!!
