Interview Done ( Houston Field Office) / Expedite EAD
Hi guys,

I thought to share my experience as I find this website so helpful and informative. And also seek advice on path forward.

My PD date was Sept 13 2015. I got interviewed Nov 30 2016. So 14 month wait.
On the day of the interview, the IO welcomed us and we swore us in....

The first thing she mentioned was did I bring my medical exam as the one I submitted has expired, I totally did not think about this and did not have it at hand.

She proceeded and asked the regular Yes / No questions.

She asked me to provide the evidence I would want to leave with her. I showed her all I brought one after the other and also pictures. (I had good evidences that I have built up being married for 3.5 years)

She did not ask us any question except do we have separate banks accounts apart from the joint bank account we provided. Of course I do as I have a separate bank account with the car loan company, My spouse also does and stated that it's inactive as she does not service the account,

Afterwards, she said that is all and she walked us out of her office. My spouse asked her so when do we expect the green card in a joking manner, she responded and said I have to go through this file as it is your second application.

So it has been almost one month and I have not heard anything back from them, my status online still states "Interview has been scheduled".

Although my lawyer said he thinks it was a good interview, we should expect RFE for the medical exam.

So my question is does anyone have a similar experience? And also what is the process for expediting EAD, does it work? I cannot afford to lose my job.

Thanks guys
