advance parole
Just want to share my experience. On November 17 I sent my advance parole due to my mother being sick in Mexico. I wrote on the application expedite and I called USCIS and asked them to expedite. On December 6 my case was approved and I received my document 4 days later. I already went to mexico and came back on the 18th. Going through customs was easy. They just asked me how many days I went and where I went and where I live. Just take your A.P, passport and employment card. Also make sure your record has to be clean and you never had issues with immigration in the past. I hope this helps and please dont lose hope for those still waiting.
