Adjustment of status through marriage from F1! HELP PLEASE!!!
Hi guys I need your help. So I recently got married to my U.S citizen husband and we filed a concurrent application to uscis December 19, 2016. I received notifications from uscis - 1 notification per application. What I didn't receive is a notification for the form I-864 and I-485; instead, I received a receipt notice for the fingerprint for the application I-485. Now I am a F 1 student who is still in status, but I was planning on reducing my credit to 6 instead of 12. If i reduce my credit that will throw me out of F-1 status. What should I do? If I reduce my status and my International student adviser report me, will that have a negative impact on me getting my green card?

In addition, my adviser said that if i do choose to do 6 credits instead of 12, It is a possibility that uscis will take longer to approve me for my green card application if I fall out of F-1 status?

Guys I really need your input ASAP. Does anyone have similar experience as I do?
