Name was Updated after rescheduling i485 interview
Hello guys,
I have a pending i485-i130 application (marriage based to US citizen). We got a last month a notification for interview for Jan 3rd. However, my wife and I are traveling in this duration outside the US. We sent them a request to reschedule the interview and they replied positively saying that within 60 days we will receive a new notice. However, on Jan 3rd (the initial interview date), I got a notification that "Your name has been Updated". I didn't request to change my name. So i am worried that this might be a rejection. I'm currently outside the US and I am planning to enter next week using my Advance Parole. Any help? Any idea what that means when you get name was updated on the same day of your initial interview date? Thanks
