Hello all,
I mailed out my package on the 21st, received by the USCIS on the 23rd.
I have not heard back yet about the application, but my husband and I need to travel outside of the country at the end of May (I-131 submitted along with).
I am a bit worried first that we have not received any notification or receipts yet and second that the process will be delayed and we cannot make the trip...
Our local office is Detroit, MI, and does anyone have any rough idea of how long this process may take?
We did not hire a lawyer and prepared everything by ourselves. I wonder in case we receive any type of REF, this can also delay the whole process..
Is there any way we can cancel this application now and re-apply after making necessary trips this year?
