Just wanted to provide an update for others waiting in NYC (I live in Brooklyn): Got my interview notice today (by email) for February 15. We'll start prepping and hope we get the letter in the mail soon. All the best to everyone waiting.
Our timeline so far:
March 21, 2016: Married!
May 5, 2016: Mailed application
May 9, 2016: Priority date
June 6, 2016: Biometrics appointment
June 22, 2016: "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview."
August 5, 2016: EAD approved
August 11, 2016: EAD received
January 10, 2017: Interview is scheduled for February 15 (email notice).
