GC based on marriage
Hello my friends. I would like to share my experience with you all. My wife is USC. We have applied based on our marriage for AOS for me. We went for interview on 29th of December 2016 at our local Washington DC field office in Fairfax. Our IO was very nice and friendly. After oath he started asking questions about our marriage. My wife have problem with anxiety so she was really uncomfortable being there. But IO was kind enough to offer her water and said that he do understand her situation. We had lot of proofs. All the trips we took and photos. Joint bank account, credit cards, utility bills, phone and internet bills, new and old lease with our names on it. Then he asked about our work. I'm not working because we just moved in Fairfax in November and I'm still looking for good job (Business Analyst) and my wife quite her job in our old city because of moving and still looking for it. We moved here for better opportunity because we lived in country side before. But we have joint sponsor with more than 100K income and presented all the related documents such as W2s, paycheck stubs, employment verification letter and tax returns. After the interview IO told us that on face value he think our relationship is genuine. But he still need to review our file. We didn't get any notice. He never checked my SSN or EAD. Our online status still shows that interview is scheduled and I130 is case received. I'm really worried. I don't know what's gonna happen. Whole process went smooth since we applied in 8July 2016. I wanted to pursue better career and waiting on GC because the job offers I'm getting they require GC candidates.

Please share your opinions. I know maybe I'm overwhelmed by whole thing but it's question of my life. We are very nervous about what gonna happen. I check mailbox everyday in case anything from USCIS
