Adjustment of Status - I-485

HI Everyone! Excited to give everyone an update on my GC journey. If you haven't read my experience yet, you may check out my previous post back in Nov 2016. After all the struggles, depression, and fears, God really taught me on how to trust Him. Especially the last few days has been extra emotionally draining -- a lot of challenges in my personal life and the fact that I neither still have my GC. This morning, as I was taking a walk outside to catch my breath since I felt like I was losing grip on hope, God spoke to me and reminded me of Abraham's story from the Bible -- how he willingly was ready to offer his only son Isaac to show his obedience and complete trust to the Lord. As He did, God did not allow to break His promise to Abraham. He spared the boy and provided a ram in the boy's place. After seeing, Abraham's commitment and faith, God blessed him abundantly. God was asking me to do the same, to lay down all my worries and problems to Him. He told me that I have already done my part, and now, He just wants me to let go and trust Him to do the rest. After all the emotional breakdowns, I just gave up and surrendered to God. For the first time in what I felt like has been a long time, I finally felt an absolute peace. I had/have my 100% trust in God regarding my situation because that's all I can do at the moment. But He was tell me, I got this! I will never let you down.
Now, just tonight, I got news that my GC has been mailed!!! I am absolutely in awe. God moves! He is alive and ready to work in our every situation if we let Him.
Disclaimer: There are still issues in my life unresolved as of now, but this is a one huge answered prayer. Now, I'm just going to have to continue to trust God to work in my life, my marriage, work, and in my every situation while being a blessing to those around me.
