Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hello everyone I do no mean to be annoying with my repeated posts, but we have been waiting for an interview date since May 12,2016. IR1 AOS It has been 10 months +++days since our PD in March, from Queens NY. I have seen people from Queens who were already interviewed but mostly in Long Island. I am guessing we are getting interviewed in Manhattan because we live closer to that local office. But im really getting desperately anxious like sick anxious, I have raised an inquiry in November, sought assistance from congress, and did an infopass-- they all said the local office is scheduling interviews. I could not make anything out of this because I get mixed info, some people in forums sayit may be on background checks, it has been sitting in NBC and wasnt touched since May 16! I asked the person during info pass and she couldn't give me a more vaguer useless answer that it's waiting--- for whattttt?!! The last inquiry response says that the local office is scheduling, but why is it still sitting in NBC?? Opinions, anyone? Experience? Besides wait? ::::(((((((

Case processing as of November 30 is February 2. Looking forward they should have been processing March 2 by December 2016 and somehow touched our file already. I have prayed andd prayyed to overcome this anxiety that I have developed and diagnosed with because of this and It's just too much uncertainty.:(((((((
