Is a Digital confirmation from USCIS for EAD enough to start a new job?

This is the email I received from my congressman's office today. Do you guys know if I can start a new job with just a Digital confirmation from USCIS before I get my card in hand.
GREAT NEWS! USCIS just informed me that have approved your EAD card. Please make sure the address they have on file for you is the correct address. They usually send you a digital confirmation as well, and that should be sufficient to begin work. I will also send you a letter from our Congressman in a few minutes, to share with your employer in case they have any concerns about getting you started. Let me know if you have any questions!
