My case was stuck at FBI name check for at least 7 months, finally got interview and approved.

02/24/2016 Noa1 emails and texts
03/04/2016 biometric letter
03/07/2016 early walkin biometric
04/18/2016 I765 and I131 approved
Then stuck on FBI name check, mailed president, First Lady and Vice President, no reply. Contacted FBI name check division just tell me to wait. Contacted congressman and senator, they can do nothing about it. Contacted USCIS ombudsman , they are completely useless and waste of time on this matter.....

01/17/2017 interview, approved on spot, didn't ask anything about my previous marriage and B2 visa entry, just asked when I entered and when did I get married... didn't ask anything about gay... super friendly and fast.
