Hello!
First of all thank you all for sharing your experiences.
I have been waiting for my appointment for i-485, the website says my case it's ready to be scheduled for an interview since July 2016! The i-130 (petition of relative. in my case my husband) says it was received at the end of May.
I have my work permit and I also filed for the i-131 and have used the travel doc but does anyone know why is it taking so long in the Newark, NJ office? I checked the website it says "processing cases as of Dec 2015" :(
