I'm the US Citizen. The case is for my husband. This board has been so helpful to me so I decided to share my experience. I'm starting to see people getting interview dates who filed around the same time as me which is heartening!
Here's my timeline so far:
May 13, 2016 - case accepted
June 24 - Biometrics done in Long Island City
As of July 27, 2016 "case ready to be scheduled for interview"
August 3, 2016 - EAD approved
August 11, 2016 - EAD received
Total silence since then! I'm assuming the interview will be in Manhattan. The wait is still scary!
Anyone else in a similar boat?
