Came here on a K1 visa, married and filed the I-485 and I-765.
My dates are the following:
12/06/2016 - mailed the forms Chicago Lockbox;
12/09/2016 - they received the forms;
12/21/2016 - reveice in the mail the NOA for the 2 forms;
12/25/2016 - received in the mail the NOA with the biometrics appointment;
01/12/2017 - did my biometrics in Memphis.
I don't have any updates on my case since then. I called them to see how long it will take. They said with the cases for green card they are way behind (they are working in january 2017 for cases in may 2016) and for the EAD they are working in january 2017 for cases in september 2016.
My question is how I should count the number of days for the EAD, starting the date they receive the case (december, 9) or from the NOA date (december, 21)?
Maybe is someone else with a case near mine and tell me his/her experience.
