Hi all,
Previous DACA applicant here, married to a USC in the summer of 2016 and applying for AOS. We were originally going with a lawyer, but did not have the disposable income due to us saving for a house.
Timeline:
PD: Nov 4
Biometrics: Nov 30
Called to expedite case for EAD: Jan 19 2017
Submitted online case request for EAD: Jan 25
Ordered new card: Jan 26
Received EAD Feb 2 (valid for one year)
I-485: Fingerprint Fee Was Received
I-130: Case Was Received
I am in Queens, NY and sent my application to the Chicago lockbox. Surprisingly, I have seen a lot of recent cases where the application was submitted after mine and their interviews have been scheduled. I looked up the Queens, NY local field office processing times for the I-485 and application from February 2016 is still being process. Getting a bit bummed out that my application is lingering while others are luckier.
