I wanted to share my experience, I hope someone who has the same timeline can tell me where they're at as well as give some insight as to what I should do. PD: Dec 5, 2016 for I-485, I-765 and I-130, Dec 15:email and text messages received. Dec 20 receipts received. Dec 31: biometrics appointment in mail, Jan11: biometrics done. Jan20: I-485 ready to schedule appointment. I'm still waiting on my EAD.
The other issue is about three weeks after I got married my husband became very abusive, calling me names, threatening to kill me and also to cancel the application. I tried to go through it which was really hard. On December 26, 2016 he slapped me and I called the police, he's still going to court and a protective order is in effect. I want to now apply for I-360 but hoping to get the EAD so I can earn some money to pay a lawyer to do same. I didn't use a lawyer initially because I knew I could do the paper work on my own.
I'm not working and I have a child so I'm praying that the EAD comes soon.
I don't think he cancelled the application since he does not know the receipt number, his only input in the application was his signature and provision of other documents needed.
If anyone has done I-360 after I-130 please tell me what's the best thing to do
