In Mexico right now! With AP
Wanted to give courage and receive encouragement and prayers over my way.
I am now in Mexico under AP visiting my Sick Grandma whom I haven't seen since I was 2, I am now 26 and it's so surreal to be here walking around with my brother who I have also not seen in 6 years. You guys I received my AP
The 18th of January telling me that I would be able to visit my family from January 20th til February 24th. I literally cried of happiness when my mom sent me the news! This was the news I had been waiting since last June of 2016. And to finally receive it now that Trump is President and to make it even more of an irony, on his first day of Presidency. I had to come. There was not a chance I was going to let this opportunity pass, even my lawyer told me to be cautious of my decision.
Seeing you guys stories gave me some encouragement to be brave and take this huge risk that could put me on a path to citizenship via my Husband. I keep hearing all this negativity (family & friends) about not being able to go back and why did I come, but seriously this only makes me want to be even braver and ready to cross back over to my 2 little girls and husband in NC. For everyone who is over here in my same shoes , stay positive and believe in the better good and have immense faith! Everything worth having is worth the risk! I will keep you guys updated once I go back. My flight leaves Monday the 13th and I've been here since the 4th! Thanks everyone. <3 #Dreamers
